TiAnViCa Riding Academy (pronounced Tea-On-Vee-Ka) is a center in which physically, mentally and emotionally challenged individuals receive educational and recreational therapeutic riding activities, hence our motto “Riding for Therapy”. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and a member of the NARHA Organization.

About TiAnViCa Riding Academy, Inc

TiAnViCa opened its doors in 2005 with three horses, 2 clients and a handful of volunteers. We met at a private barn on 3 acres in south Lakeland.

Now, in 2010 we are on 30 acres with a large barn, 100 x 200 ft riding ring, a 1/2 mile trail and 7 horses. Our volunteers in 2009 gave well over 3000 hours of time. We also have partnered with the Sheriffs Youth Villa and Clear Springs Land Co. to bring you this wonderful facility.

Therapeutic Riding lessons, also known as Equine Assisted Activities, have a proven track record of increasing muscle strength through mounted games and exercises, increased social interaction through theory and stable management classes and increased self-confidence and self-esteem which, in turn, benefits their families, friends and communities where they live. Look around our website and learn more about TiAnViCa.
